News
What's happening and where to buy my work.
2026 is breathing "Fresh Air" into the studio—literally. I’ve been elbow-deep in a new body of work for the Fresh Air 2026 exhibition which you can see more about here, and other work for a full season of upcoming shows.
I'm very excited to be working with Studio Ellie Maya again - this time at the historic Royal Crescent Hotel in Bath. You can find more details of this new work here.
From July, we will be at our favourite local exhibition at Upton Castle and I am very excited to tell you that my practice has been long listed for the Aesthetica Art Prize this year! You can see my entry here, along with a host of wonderful work by other artists. Happy Days. I will be attending the Future Now Symposium at St John's University in York as part of this.
In Aug we will be hosting our first ever open studios as part of the North Pembrokeshire Open Studios Art Trail and some fun in Harrogate at the By Hand Event with the wonderful Caroline Brogden. If you don't know about Caroline, she makes beautiful, sustainable, ocean inspired jewellery using reclaimed silver and surfite.
In September, I'm very excited to share that I will have a new body of work included in the upcoming 'From Other Lands' exhibition at Ruthin Craft Centre. It's currently WIP. You can learn more about it here.
Phew! Lets hope for a lovely summer!
Other good news:
The numbers for 2025 are in! We are Carbon Negative!
If you’ve followed our journey or caught my recent TEDx talk, "Melting Glass, Not the Planet," you know the question that drives our work: Can the energy-intensive art of glassblowing survive in a world that needs to cool down?
For a long time, we struggled with the "Industrial Heat" required to make glass. But as I shared on the stage, the answer isn't to stop creating—it’s to start restoring, open conversations and share - be a 'trim tab'.
Today, we're putting more data behind the story. Our 2025 Studio Carbon Footprint Report is officially in, and it proves that art can be a catalyst for a net-positive future. The summary is below. You can read the full report here.
